Removal
Front Bezel
Identify the front bezel highlighted in blue
Unlock the front bezel by using the key.
Press the release button and disengage the left end of the bezel.
Unhook the right end, and remove the front bezel.
System Cover
Identify the system cover highlighted in blue.
Using a flat head or a Phillips screwdriver, rotate the lock counter clockwise.
Lift the latch until the system cover slides back.
Hold the cover on both sides, and lift the cover away from the system.
Riser 1A
Identify the riser 1A highlighted in blue
Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the blue thumb screw on the riser.
Disconnect any cables that are connected to the expansion card or the riser.
Pull the plunger and slide to the unlock position (slide to the rear of the chassis).
Lift the expansion card riser from the riser connector on the system board.
Riser 4A
Identify the riser 4A highlighted in blue
Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the blue thumb screw on the riser.
Disconnect any cables that are connected to the expansion card or the riser.
Pull the plunger and slide to the unlock position (slide to the rear of the chassis)
Lift the expansion card riser from the riser connector on the system board.
Cooling Fan
Identify the cooling fan highlighted in blue.
Holding the orange (near the label) and black (near the orange touch point) edges on the fan module and lift the cooling fan to disconnect the fan from the connector.
Cable cover
Identify the cable cover highlighted in blue.
Using the Phillips screwdriver, loosen the blue thumb screws.
Pull up the metallic cover to disconnect the cables.
Turtle shell
Identify the turtle shell highlighted in blue
Using the two fingers, lift the turtle shell from the DLC module.
Storage tray
Identify the storage tray highlighted in blue
Disconnect the cables from the system board connectors.
Disconnect the intrusion switch and fan board cables from the connector.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws on the drive cage.
Lift the handle and slide the storage tray towards the front of the system.
Lift the storage tray out of the system.
Lower brace cover
Identify the lower brace cover highlighted in blue
Using two fingers press the touch point on the lower brace cover to release it from the lower brace.
System board tray
Identify the system board tray highlighted in blue
Disconnect the cables from the system board.
Disconnect the cables from the system board.
Disconnect the cables from the system board.
Pull the plunger and rotate the metallic gate.
Remove the liquid cooling hoses with numbers naming 11 an 12 and unroute the hoses from system board tray handle.
Using the Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws to disengage the VSB cable from the PDB.
Disconnect the signal cable from the PDB and unroute the cables from the system board tray handle.
Unlock all the four blue plungers on the system board tray.
Rotate the handle upward.
Slide the system board tray toward the rear of the chassis until it locks at its position.
Sensor Tray
Identify the sensor tray highlighted in blue
Release the plunger and rotate the metallic gate to open.
Release all the GPU cold plate hoses from the manifold liquid cooling module.
Remove the sensor tray cable connector on the PDB.
Using Phillips 2 screwdriver, remove the screws from the sensor tray.
Move away the metallic bracket from the GPU cold plates.
Rotate GPU cold plate hoses. Ensure that each GPU cold plates block has 2 hoses, the hoses must go through the original block, not cross or pass through other blocks.
Remove and lift the sensor tray from the GPU cold plate.
CBB cold plate module
Identify the CBB cold plate module highlighted in blue.
Unplug the cold plate hoses numbering with 1 and 6 from the Manifold Liquid cooling.
Pull the plunger and rotate the metallic gate.
Disconnect the cable from the connector on the PDB.
Disconnect the cables from the GPU board.
Install the handles on the CBB to remove the CBB away from the chassis.
Install the screws to secure the handles on the CBB.
Remove the screws securing on the CBB cold plate module to GPU board.
Using both the hands, lift the CBB away from the GPU board.
GPU with GPU cold plate
Identify the GPU with GPU cold plate highlighted in blue
Loosen screws securing GPU with GPU cold plates on GPU socket. Loosen in sequential order.
Lift and remove the GPU with GPU cold plates from the GPU socket.
GPU board
Identify the fan board highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the fan cables connected on the fan board.
Using the Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws securing fan board to the storage tray.
Holding the fan board, lift it away from the system.
Install
GPU board
Identify the fan board location highlighted in blue.
Align and insert the fan board into the slots until it is seated firmly.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, tighten the screws to secure the fan board into the storage tray.
Connect the fan board cables into the fan board connectors.
GPU with GPU cold plate
Identify the GPU with GPU cold plate location highlighted in blue
Align and insert the GPU with GPU cold plates on the GPU socket.
Tighten the screws securing GPU module on GPU socket. Tighten in sequential order.
CBB cold plate module
Identify the CBB cold plate module location highlighted in blue.
Using both the hands, align and insert the CBB cold plate module on the GPU board.
Install and tighten the screws to secure the CBB on the GPU board.
Remove the screws from the CBB handles.
Lift the handles away from the CBB cold plate module.
Plug the cold plate hoses numbering with 1 and 6 to the manifold liquid cooling.
Pull the plunger and rotate the metallic gate.
Connect the cable to the connector on the PDB
Connect the cables on to the GPU board.
Sensor Tray
Identify the sensor tray location highlighted in blue
Release the plunger and rotate the metallic gate to open.
Using both the hands, rotate GPU cold plate hoses at the position. Hold all the cold plate hoses in one hand.
Using another hand, align and install the sensor tray on to the GPU cold plates.
Rotate all the GPU cold plate hoses to the Manifold Liquid cooling module.
Connect all the GPU cold plate hoses to the Manifold Liquid cooling module.
Connect the sensor tray cable connector on the PDB.
Using Phillips 2 screwdriver, tighten the screws to secure on to the sensor tray.
Push in the bracket under the cold plate/hose joint.
Rotate the metallic gate to lock position and release the plunger.
System board tray
Identify the system board tray location highlighted in blue
Unlock the two blue plungers near to the handle to release the handle and rotate the handle.
Slide the system board tray again to lock in its position.
Release the handle until it firmly locks into the chassis. Lock the four blue plungers.
Route the cables in to the system board tray handle and connect the signal cable to the PDB.
Using the Phillips screwdriver, install the screws to secure the VSB cable to the PDB.
Connect the cables to the system board.
Connect the cables to the system board.
Connect the cables to the system board.
Route the hoses in to the system board tray handle and connect the liquid cooling hoses 11 an 12 to Manifold from DLC module.
Pull the plunger and rotate the metallic gate.
Lower brace cover
Identify the lower brace cover location highlighted in blue
Align the lower brace cover on the lower brace along the arrow, using two fingers press the touch point on the lower brace cover until it firmly seated on the lower brace.
Storage tray
Identify the storage tray location highlighted in blue
Align and insert the storage tray on the guiding slots of the chassis.
Press down the handle and slide the tray into the chassis toward the rear of the system until it is firmly seated.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, install the screws to secure on the drive cage.
Connect the cables in to the system board connectors.
Connect the intrusion switch and fan board cables to the connector.
Turtle shell
Identify the turtle shell location highlighted in blue
Using the two finger, align and install the turtle shell on the DLC module.
Cable cover
Identify the cable cover location highlighted in blue.
Push down the metallic cable cover on the storage tray.
Using the Phillips screwdriver, tighten the blue thumb screws.
Cooling Fan
Identify the cooling fan location highlighted in blue.
Align and place the fan module connector horizontally with the connector on the system board.
Press the orange touch point on the cooling fan module until firmly connected.
Riser 4A
Identify the riser 4A location highlighted in blue
Holding the blue touch points, align the holes on the expansion card riser with the guides on the system board.
Lower the expansion card riser into place and press the touch points until the expansion card riser connector is fully seated on the system board connector.
Pull the plunger and slide to the lock position (slide to the front of the chassis).
Using a Phillips screwdriver, tighten the blue thumb screw to secure the riser on the chassis.
Connect the cables to the expansion card or the riser.
Riser 1A
Identify the riser 1A location highlighted in blue
Holding the blue touch points, align the holes on the expansion card riser with the guides on the system board.
Lower the expansion card riser into place and press the touch points until the expansion card riser connector is fully seated on the system board connector.
Pull the plunger and slide to the lock position (slide to the front of the chassis).
Using a Phillips screwdriver, tighten the blue thumb screw to secure the riser on the chassis.
Connect the cables to the expansion card or the riser.
System Cover
Identify the system cover location highlighted in blue.
Align the tabs on the system cover with the guide slots on the system and slide the system cover.
Close the system cover release latch.
Using a flat head or Phillips screwdriver, rotate the lock clockwise to the lock position.
Front Bezel
Identify the front bezel location highlighted in blue
Align and insert the tabs on the bezel into the slots on the system.
Press the bezel until the release button clicks in place.
Lock the front bezel by using the key.
