Removing the Power Connector

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove:
    1. battery

    2. optical-disk drive

    3. access panel

    4. hard drive

    5. memory module

    6. keyboard

    7. base cover

    8. system board

  3. Disconnect the power connector from the system board and lift it away from the system board. Figure displaying removing power connector from the system board.
