Removing a 3.5-inch hot swappable hard drive adapter from a 3.5-inch hot swappable hard drive carrier

Prerequisites

Follow the safety guidelines listed in safety instructions section.
Keep the Phillips #2 screwdriver ready.
If installed, remove the front bezel.

Steps

Remove the 3.5-inch hot swappable hard drive carrier from the system.
Remove the screws from the rails on the hot swappable hard drive carrier.
Lift the 3.5-inch hard drive adapter out of the 3.5-inch hot swappable hard drive carrier.

Next steps
