Netskope Version 89

Netskope Version 89 is now, available, containing two major new features with Netskope Cloud firewall and Netskope Remote Browser Isolation. Version 89 also contains 15 minor new features and changes, and 15 fixes.

Dell Trusted Device Version 3.6

New features available with DTD V3.6:

  • SIEM
    • Dell Trusted Device data can be made available to SIEM solutions.  This data can be used by security administrators to aggregate the data to better understand the state of their endpoint population.
    • Dell Trusted Device can collect data that is related to security of a Dell endpoint:
      • BIOS Verification
      • BIOS Events & Indicators of Attack
      • Image Capture
      • Security Risk Protection Score
  • Intel ME (Management Engine) Verification
    • The Trusted Device agent scans and verifies that Intel ME firmware is present and untampered after initial installation, startup, and every 24 hours.

Dell Security Management Server

An issue has been identified in the Jetty component of the 11.1.1 Dell Security Management Server Enterprise and Virtual release. This issue typically presents as an internal server error when committing policy in the administration console. If you believe that you may be encountering this issue or are planning to upgrade to the 11.1.1 release, please contact Dell Encryption support.

Dell Endpoint Security - Windows 11 and Windows 10 21H2 Support Status

Dell Endpoint Security is currently validating the upcoming releases of Windows 11 and Windows 10 21H2 with supported versions, and is anticipating support within 30 days of the formal release to web.

 Dell Encryption 11.1 Now Available

Changes in this Release:

·       Installs and upgrades to Windows 11 and Windows 10 21H2 are not blocked with Encryption Enterprise. Dell does not support preview versions of operating systems and using unsupported operating systems may result in data loss. See this KB Article for additional Information on Windows operating system compatibility.

·       The Encryption Management Agent now automatically decrypts then encrypts drives protected by BitLocker Manager when an algorithm is changed from the default in the Dell Server. For more information, see the following in logs:

o   Encryption method is changed. Start decryption and after that encryption with new method.

NOTE:  Computers encrypted with Microsoft’s BitLocker for OEMs will be automatically decrypted and re-encrypted after an update to Encryption Enterprise v11.1 or newer. You may observe performance impacts during the re-encryption process.

·       BitLocker Manager now rotates the RecoveryPassword protector on computers after the password is requested in the Self-Service Recovery Portal in the Dell Server or through the Management Console.

·       The icon and verbiage for failed login attempts in the PBA environment have been aligned.

·       Computers protected by Full Disk Encryption now decrypt as expected when a removable drive is present.

·       The Encryption Management Agent now properly decrypts files in OneDrive folders.

·       The Encryption Management Agent now creates folders for use with Windows 10 Feature Updates only for the Dell Encryption solutions installed.
