Hi Jeevan.

I would suggest you to update the audio drivers and the BIOS of the computer. Click on the link http://dell.to/13T5IJx -> type the service tag of the computer -> expand Audio -> download and install the audio driver.

Restart the computer and then update the BIOS of the computer.

Note: Before updating BIOS please ensure that
*Battery is 10%> or >10% charged.
*Adapter should be connected.
*No external devices should be connected.
*All other programs should be closed and documents saved.

Hope this helps.

Is this a distortion you're getting at certain high volumes? Do you have VLC Player installed?

Hi Appu,

Thanks for your prompt reply,

I tried what you said, updated both Audio as well as BIOS in my Windows 7 OS. Still while playing songs in windows media player cracks.

Let me know your thoughts on this.

Thanks,

Hi Jeevan,

Do you have any other media player installed on your computer? Please try to playing online audio and video files and check if you experience the same issue.
