X1, PalmOne LifeDrive, bluetooth and COM ports
Hi
I have tried PalmOne support without any luck and I thought I'd try here.
I want to connect my PDA (PalmOne LifeDrive) with my laptop (latitude X1) via bluetooth. As the synchronization manager (HotSync) does not connect directly via bluetooth, it needs an assign COM port. My problem is that I have only figured out how to make a new COM port, but not how to associate that COM port with my PDA. My question is simply how do I associate a COM port with a specific device?
I run Win XP home and have downloaded the latest bluetooth driver from dell.com.
