S2721DS, DDM, feature upgrade request

Hi,

I am using Dell monitor S2721DS and DDM (Dell Display Manager) version 1.51.0.2021. I want to suggest an improvement for DDM.

Since my S2721DS has built-in speakers, I want the speakers to be controllable (turn on-off, adjust volume) from DDM.
I sometimes want to mute the speakers but still want sound from the audio port behind the S2721DS. Unfortunately, my computer (Window 10) cannot control this. It needs to be done from the S2721DS itself.
Even though I can control the speakers by the S2721DS physical buttons, it will be more convenient to manage them through DDM.

Or am I missing something? Please guide me.

Thank you.

Try using DDM command line options to create two standard Windows shortcuts, and assign hotkeys to both:

"ddm.exe /SetVolume 0"

and

"ddm.exe /SetVolume 75"

where 75 is your preferred volume setting.

Then switch between them as needed.
