Legato networker support backup for xen virtual machines (Xen hypervisor)
Hi,
Please clarify my queries.
- Does Xen Hypervisor support on Leagto Networker Backup
- Networker supports backup of Virtual Machines(If supports from which version onwards)
- Does Installing Networker client on the VM's Operating System on any hardware(Other than EMC/HP hardware) so that it will be backed up as a normal client backup
- Does EMC has any document related to Xen Hypervisor is supported with Networker.

Hi Maghesh,
Networker supports Xen 3.2, Citrix Xen Server 5.x, on NW 7.4 SP3 and later, 7.5.x, 7.6.x Client in Guest OS. Networker Client supported on the following OS Platforms:
SuSE ES 10, 11
RedHat AS 5 x86
Windows 2003 x86
This information can be founded at "EMC Information Protection Software Compatibility Guide" at Powerlink.
Any VM can be backep up as a normal client.
I haven't a specific document about Xen and Networker at this moment. Try to search it at Powerlink, too.

Thanks for the support.
I got the SCG document from the EMC protal.
But any one has tried the in "Xen hypervisor" & if you have document please share the document.
