2950 cannot ghost/ntfspro/ERD/BartPE

Help, We have bought a lot of 2950 servers that we intended to ghost using our normal procedure ( which works with 2850, HP DL380's, IBM 346, 345, 366 etc). But I just cannot see the disks, unless I use the dell CD to install an OS. Pressing F6 during a manual install I can load the downloaded driver, then after creating the partition windows wants to load the driver again and asks me to press enter and which it does not respond to or access the floppy it did before and all I can do is f3 to quit. As for ERD and Bartpe, I can press f6 and load the drive but when the OS comes up there's no DISKS !!! HELP..... Thanks Paul

I am not sure of this at all...  But, I think your problem may be related to mine.  It seems the Dell 2950's do not allow a configuration that is not RAID-dependent...  If this is true, you will not be able to utilize Ghost due to the RAID dependency...  There's two-cent's worth

All,

The answer was to use boot disks that do not use himen or exteneded memory, once I did this I have access.

Cheers
