R710 H700 & 4TB Drives
All
I have a r710 with an H700 controller. I would like to use the following drives but want to make these are compatible:
Seagate NAS HDD ST4000VN000 4TB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s Internal Hard Drive
Currently my R710 will only recognize 2TB on a 3TB HDD I put in it. How do I get the controller to support greater than a 2TB drive?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Steve

No, they aren't compatible. You should NOT be using NAS (or desktop/laptop) drives in servers.
Consider this drive instead:

Compare with identical drive at Dell.com:
Also, the H700 firmware MUST be up to date to see larger than 2TB.

Not sure that you are correct on this one.
