After BIOS update 7530 needs charger to boot
I recently updated BIOS to version 1.13.1, and after this my Precision 7530 will only boot with the charger connected, not on battery power. I run Pop!_OS 20.04 (Linux).
Yes, it's the same issue as described here regarding 7540: https://www.dell.com/community/Precision-Mobile-Workstations/Precision-7540-will-only-boot-Linux-if-charger-is-connected/m-p/7523968#M3185
However, it seems that the issue was fixed in an update for 7540, but the update which made this issue appear in 7530 is actually newer than that update.
So I really hope this will be fixed in a new update soon.
I would easily try the Grub workaround found in the mentioned thread, but Pop!_OS uses Systemd-boot instead of Grub. So I wouldn't really know what to do. If you know, please explain.

In case anyone stumbles upon the same issue:
In Pop!_OS, or in a system that runs systemd-boot instead of Grub, typing the following command into a terminal solved the issue for me:
"sudo kernelstub -a dis_ucode_ldr"
