Precision M4600 Hangs on BIOS update
I have a Dell Precision M4600 running BIOS version A08 and on trying to update it the updater hangs at the end of "Collecting Information", the process bar completes, then it just does nothing. I've tried with a number of different BIOS versions and they all behave the same.
Is this a known issue?

Removed the HDD which is running Becrypt Disk Protect and it progresses now to flashing the firmware but hangs at another point now. It asked if I want to continue, then I press Yes and it says "Please wait....".
I wonder if it needs a HDD in to apply the update?
