Continuous Data Protection?

Hi. I have CDP in Dell Backup (W 8.1, 64-bit XPS 8700) configured to automatically save many of my files. However, I am noticing that the dates on my CDP database files don't seem to be updating when I update my data. How continuous is this?? Does it even work?

I also don't really see a way to restore the individual files.

Any help?
