DVD reading problem
I have a dell XPS 410/9200 and my dvd drive does not read dvd's but does read my cd's. I have dvd decoder installed cinemastervideo.dll but it still does not work. I noticed this a couple of weeks ago when I tried to install Call of Duty dvd and have tried other dvd movies and none work. Has anyone else have this problem and help would be appricated.

It is possible the DVd laser has failed and the CD laser is still
functioning. Check the drive ..........
Run the Dell Diagnostics on the drive if it is on your hard drive.
Press F12 at startup while the blue Dell shows on the screen. This
will enter the boot menu. Choose Utility Partition or Diagnostics.
Run the Custom Test on the drive and have a data DVD (not movie DVD)
ready for the test.

I ran the test and it came back with and error code 0F00:041D and that it was a hardware problem. All of the others tests were ok. The drive can read my data cd's that I burned but not movies or the call of duty cd, I can't even install th game. Would this be a software issue with the driver I looked for an updated driver on dells website but there was none listed for my drive is there any thing else I can try. My drive is listed below along with the driver verision.
