Dell Latitude with Windows 8: not reading SD

Hello, My Dell Latitude was recently updated to include Windows 8. Much to my dismay, however, it will no longer recognize USB or SD cards. And so, I hit the forums and found a DL to the Chipset file GVG3T_WN_3.0.07.37 Now, it will read the E driver, which is the USB; however, the SD is still a no-go, which sucks, because that's what I need more. Suggestions?
