I recently purchased and installed a dell 256 gb ata ssd.

Upon being installed in my pc (desktop) my computer will not detect it. either in hard drives or device manager. A friend and I checked multiple times that it was installed correctly, sata cables plugged in etc. and Nothing. I'd like to be able to use this if anyone has suggestions for getting my pc to detect it.

Running windows 10.
