Dell Studio 1537, DVD Region Code Problem
Hey, My Dell studio 1537 is equipped with TSST corp DVD+-RW TS-T633A ATA Device. It was working well. Some days ago, i changed its region to 2 in order to play a DVD movie of region 2. After that, now it is not playing any CD or DVD except (Dell provided Drivers CD, i check with these to confirm whether it works or not). what should i do? what should be defult region? i live in pakistan. Regards.

According to THIS, Pakistan is Region 5. There is a limit on number of times the region can be changed (either 4 or 5) so be careful on the number of times you change.

I have the same laptop with the same optical device inside it. Is there not a way of making the device 'region free' or making the region change count revert back to the maximum allowed?
