Have a extra internal Hard Drive How do I install it.
:emotion-40: I owe a XPS/Dimension XPS Gen 5 and have 2 hard drives (160GB, Serial ATA 7) already exist.
How many drive can I upgrade on this system?
I have a extra internal Western Digital EIDE Hard drive that I would like to install into this system. Do you recommend to install it, even is not ATA drive? if yes, How do I install EIDE hard drive? :emotion-40:

Here is a link to your service manual, which has all the instructions you need. Looking at the system board, it does appear to have a single IDE connector, to which you may connect two IDE devices. And you would need to configure this in system setup under PRI IDE (in drives).
Where you physically attach the drive, I cannot say. You'll need to look around inside the case.
