Is Insperon CD / DVD dual layer?

My 1720 came last week with a TSST corp DVD +- RW TS L632H.  Pre order conversations with Dell and the shipping document indicate that the drive in the laptop is dual layer.  I can find no indication that the installed drive is dual layer.  Anyone have info on the drive?
