Thanks for the reply. I am going to install an IDE hard drive instead of a SATA. After I have installed the IDE hard drive, what if any will I have to do to get the drive to work?

Are you installing the IDE hard drive, as a replacement primary C:/ drive, or as a secondary additional hard drive?
What is the version of windows?
