Unknown Dell Update for Streak 7

That is the Honeycomb update. Are you currently running  2.2.2?

Its the honeycomb update that was relesed late lastyear to download it direct youll need wifi ,you can download it another way onto a sd card then update it that way ,check tge announcement FAQ pinned topic top this forum theres a honeycomb topic in there will give you all the inf you need,,,.and a word of note re wifi needs quite a lot of the large games/apps also require wifi for downloading their heavy resources ,if no intention of getting fixedline wifi ,,there some other otions you can get mobile broadband wifi(mifi) or a normal 3g usb mobile broadband dongle plugged into a 3g enabled router ,even some nokia smartphones can be turned into a wifi hotsot so dont be putoff by needing wifi for somethings ,,,even my bank application will not allow me to login via my streak7 3g I must enable its wifi also :) goodluck with your tablet im sure youll continue to enjoy it

According to the About Tablet Section Android Version is 3.2.

If the Software Update is for Honeycomb why is it coming up on my Tablet?

its coming up on your tablet to you allow you to update it from 2.2/2.3 whatevers there and isnt designed for tablets so youve the option to update to the honeycomb version which is designed for tablets :) i carnt remember which version was on mine as the day i got it the update was showing so updated it ,some people including myself had to do the hard reset /emergency recovery and reinstall our apps games ect  some days afterwards as some things were a little confused

I checked my Streak 7 when it came out of the box before I had even been down the street to get a 3G SIM card for it and it was already Android 3.2.

Yes you have Honeycomb (Android 3.2). However, if you are receiving an update notice, it means that Dell has pushed out an Over The Air (OTA) update for your version of Honeycomb. In other word, this is a newer version of Honeycomb. The original Honeycomb was the 506 ROM, your Streak 7 is asking you to update to the 513 ROM. Since I have the US WiFi version, I am running the 514 ROM on my Streak 7. So I suggest you update to the 513 ROM since it is prompting you to do so.

Download that pkg onto your computer, save it to an external SD Card, and follow the instructions on this post to install the update (disregard the download instructions on this post because it was for the 506 ROM).

Thanks for that information I was certain I was running Android 3.2 but it is nice to have that confirmed.

I have tried several times to get the Download to run but it always fails at 210Mb, I have even tried it at a 

Internet Cafe with Wifi but always the same result.

Question, sorry if I'm not that up with things, but HOW can I download it to my PC to save it to an SD Card?

I have searched through the Dell Downloads for it,  have searched the Dell site for it but it doesn't come up anywhere.

When you tap on the update notice, it open your browser and take you to the dell update webpage. Copy that address and type it into your desktop/laptop browser, and then download it like any other file.
