Bazooka scanner, by Kephyr ????
Does anyone have any
first-hand knowledge of the Bazooka Adware/Spyware scanner, by Kephyr ???
Specifically:
1) How comprehensive is it in its scans?
2) Is is prone to generate any false positives?
3) Is the program itself clean? --- that is to say, is it free of adware/spyware?
THIS IS MERELY A QUESTION --- **NOT** A RECOMMENDATION

I used Bazooka several months ago on my previous Dell 8200 and had no problems with it. It was free (then). I started using (like most) CWShredder, Ad-Aware and SpyBot. I didn't feel like Bazooka kept "up-to-date" like the others. I never downloaded it (Bazooka) on this 8400 so I can't give you any up-to-date info on it.
Go here and read this article about IE's problem's with infections:
http://www.eblocs.com/activexalert.html
Then do yourself and your puter a big favor and go here, download Firefox browser and start using it:
http://getfirefox.com/
Since I started using Firefox (no ActiveX controls), my infections have been "nil".
