VNC will not work on R50L
VNC will not work on R50L
I have tried every option I can think of to get VNC to work on our R50Ls. I set a password using the ConfiGenerator tool and it will not accept the password when i try to connect. I have tried the following options in multiple combinations..nothing works.
DisableVNC=no
; If you are using an older version of SUSE code please use:
; VncPasswd=clear_text Password
VncPasswd=lFVYVlBZrn1bI
; If you are using an older version of SUSE code please use:
; UsePasswd=yes
VNCAuthTypes=vnc
VNCPrompt=no

Most VNC clients use a display number instead of the actual port,SSH secure connection end encryptions plugins for Ultra VNC are supported.
Ideal is the beacon. Without ideal , there is no secure direction ; without direction , there is no life

We had difficulty getting this to work also.
These are the settings that finally worked for us:
DisableVNC=no
VNCAuthTypes=none
VncPrompt=no
VNCPasswd=7B5q89An1a
This allows us to connect with tightVNC to the Wyse desktop without requiring the user to do anything.
