XPS 600, upgrade CPU and GPU?
Hello.
I'm looking to do an upgrade on my older desktop PC. A Dell XPS 600. I would like to upgrade the CPU and GPU but not sure what to look for in the way of compatibility. Can anyone help me with any recommendations for this model PC?
Thanks.

I remember 2005 ... I think I still had my Pentium-4 system. Yeah, that's right because the Dell XPS-410 running the new Vista was in 2007.
I like to keep old systems running too, but I think it is time for a new computer my friend ... even if it's a $100 refurbished one.

Thanks so much for the reply everyone. I’m not so much trying to complete with current Gaming system. Just more of a hobby right now. I don’t own any current games for it.

GTX 1050 TI is better than a GTX 680 so I think that card is not worth the money.
a GDDR5 GT 1030 would be my suggestion.

Unless you want to try SLI then GTX 1060 6 Gig is minimum recommended.
And Yes the newer cards from nvidia work fine in Older Dells.
This guy put a 1080 TI into an XPS 400.

The XPS 600 uses an ANCIENT GC375 motherboard and Proprietary everything. Being DDR2 also means its Dirt Slow compared to others. Upgrade CPU would Be Pentium D915
