XPS 710 Support Core 2 Extreme QX9650?
Hey everybody, I recently got a Dell XPS 710 that currently is running a Core 2 Extreme QX6700. That’s fine for now for playing older games and using as a test bench for various older video cards, but in the future if I wanted to max it out could it support something like a QX9650 or a Core 2 Extreme or Quad from that family of processors? Thanks.

For the 2006 XPS 710, the Kentsfield Quad Core QX6700 was the fastest validated CPU. Would the QX9650 work, unknown. If you try it, check the sellers return policy in case it doesn't work.
