Apologies for the basic title to this problem but I can't phrase it any other way. I've looked though the Alienware community pages here and searched for similar problems elsewhere but I can't find a resolution anywhere.

I've had a 2020 m17 R3 for the last month or so and until recently I've not needed to use the Thunderbolt port on the rear of the laptop but when I tried to connect my Note 20 Ultra to it, windows didn't recognise that anything was connected. I've tried with different phones and cables but nothing is recognised. I had a look in Device Manager and under USB Connection Managers the UCM-UCSI ACPI Device is flagged with error code 43.

From reading other posts that have similar problems with their Thunderbolt port not working.

I've already tried a few things like checking that the drivers are updated, uninstalling and re-installing the intel thunderbolt driver and controller, running the diagnostics on the Dell website but these didn't help.

Any help would be greatly apreciated.
