We make every month a backup of our database and the duration is 3 hours. But that's for us too long before we can do a run what we need to do.

We are searching for a shorter manor for the backup. We thought about a snapshot of the lun. But we must also can back it the run is failed. How long admit the snapshot? The lun is 700GB.

Can someone give me advise to handle.
