I've been deciding on whether to get a 2-in1. I found configurations I like and, fortunately before I made the purchase, realized these don't convert to true tablets in part because they contain no GPS. Basically I was looking for an iPad and Android phone replacement in a 2-in-1. (Larger screen, true computer functionality and directory structure . . . those sorts of things.)  I wanted to use Google Maps on a 13- or 14-inch model while traveling in the same way I use Google Maps on my tablet and phone--to navigate to another location.  I don't want a 2-in-1 unless it has that feature. I already have a standard laptop.

Why can't a laptop contain GPS? Is there any way to add it by way of USB dongle, perhaps?
