Hi, i bought a lattitude 7420 recently, the shape and mechnical design is a desaster. As someone in another group said, one has the impression fhat dell engineers don t test their own equipment. And then, once the issue is undeniable, they ignore or say, oh, we discuss in the team and never come back. Issues:

- edges are sharp, unpleasant handling

- and yes, when you open the screen too much on your wooden table, the screen fixation will directly carve into the wood with sharp edges and very hard plastic

Unfortunately, the dell personnel was useless so far. I would be grateful, if community could help.Does any nice or ugly case like for a mobile phone exist?

I start to think in wrapping the edges in soft tape, in case of, i would send video to youtube, how at least the dell is no more harmful for my environment.

PS: after having bought HP laptops till now, my IT service nearly obliged me to go back to Dell. During 3 months, after getting the Dell in summer, I was fighting with a defectuous mother card. After three months, I found that all 7 or 8 laptops bought at same time, had had similar problems. Cost me many hours of trying and finally reconfiguring my old laptop to bridge that period....
