I had two 8800GTX's in SLI mode installed in my Dell 720H2C system.  Latest NVIDIA display drivers were installed.  Today, while browsing the Internet, my display suddenly became corrupted and the system crashed (no BSOD or event in the Event Viewer found).  The corruption wasn't too bad, just red vertical bands upon startup and red lines vertical and horizonically when Vista loaded in Safe Mode.  I had to load in safe mode as it would not boot up normally.  In safe mode I reinstalled the display drivers.  The problem was still there.  I ran System Restore and restored the system to an earlier date.  Still the problem remained. I ran my virus scanner and spyware programs.  Still nothing.  I hooked up another CPU to my monitor and it started with no corruption in the monitor so I knew it wasn't the monitor (a Dell 3007WFP).  I removed the secondary 8800 and still the system would not boot and there was corruption even at bootup.  I could only boot up in safe mode.  I removed the Primary 8800 and replaced it with the Secondary card and the system booted up without any corruption whatsoever.  Everything is working perfectly with just the one 8800 installed. So I'm asking the experts out there whether you think my primary card is toast and beyond repair. It was not overclocked in any way so it's hard for me to believe it burned up. I just got this system earlier this year so there's still a warranty on the system/card.  Thanks in advance for your input!
