I'm thinking on acquiring a refurbished Dell OptiPlex 760 for a small project: it's a Small Form Factor (SFF) - Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 @ 2.80GHz. I was wondering what the upgrade situation was for this model?

Apparently it can run (specs) Vista Business 64 bit which would allow 8GB of Ram. I wonder if that Vista is better than XP Pro 64 bit?

Can that processor be improved upon please - there were 'Q' series 760s which ran Quad Cores? This is an 'E' series though.
