ok, got a used 8200, the 1394 port is active in network connections, but windows isnt detecting the soundcard. i have tried the ac97 audio drivers from just about everyone i could find (intel/realtek/dell/hp/compaq) nothing will install the audio drivers, im concerned that perhaps my bios is off, or something more serious, anyone have a clue or could help me in this matter (first post btw so if this is coverd im sorry i didnt use the search function, as i have not yet found it. if it has been corrected in another post please link me as im loosing hair with each pull)
