changing Dell TOLUD option
does anyone know how to change the dell bios TOLUD option to a lower value to allow more PCI express allocation memory?
For instance the dell XPS M1330 TOLUD is 3.5GB (assuming you have 4GB of ram) and therefore only 512 MB of ram is allowed for hosting PCI express devices.
unfortunately, 277MB of this is already used for the geforce 8400M GS, and about 44Mb is used by various other sources, leaving me with 191MB left to host something plugged into the the express card slot. -- unfortunately, I need 256MB to host the device Im plugging in. Therefore i need to change the TOLUD to allow more space to host.
Anyone know how to unlock the dell bios to change this option?
Thanks
