I wanted to try out the biometric scanner as a way to sign into my computer; this required me to create a system password as a back up as well. Since, i have decided not to use the fingerprint sensor to log on, and would prefer no pre-boot authentication. I can't find anyway to disable the preboot system password though. I did manage to remove the fingerprint requirement.
