Hi everybody.

Does anybody know, what thickness of thermal pads, Dell is using for their Laptops ?

I mean thermal pad for chipset and the ram of the graphics adapter.

In my case - chipset of Dell Precision M6400/M6500 and Nvidia Quadro 5000M (2GB, for M6500).

Don't worry about total measurement - I just want to know the thickness for the chipset and the thickness for the ram (I'm very sure they require different thickness of thermal pads).

I will replace thermal paste for CPU and GPU, but I really want to replace the pads for chipset and graphics rams as well (with a good quality one (I'll use Artic Silver 5 for CPU and GPU).

Graphics Ram - 0.5 mm ??? Or thicker ?

Chipset - 1 mm ??? Or 1.5 mm ?
