Hi All, Just had a hard disk crash & memory module fault. Dell replaced both under extended warranty. I backed it all up luckily. The system is under 3 years old. Most of the drivers are back on. However the touch pad driver & tab is missing in device manager. The touch pad works but a basic mouse is just listed so there is no scroll etc.

The other thing thats flagged up is Base driver , if I remember as I am at work now. I clicked on driver which is missing & then update but won't find a driver. Can someone tell me where it is even on the system disk that came with the PC. I don't know what it does?

I have downloaded all Windows Vista 64 bit updates over the weekend. Now all the programmes!
