i have a inspiron 8500, i loaded vista and it wont let me run the bios update.. im running a05 and would like to go to a08.. i disabled User Account Control (UAC)and even stopped windows defender service.. ive right clicked run as.. no go.. same error everytime.. "Program access denied. please make sure you logged in as an administrator." which i am.. 2 user accounts.. administrator and guest (disabled) im at a loss.. i even check the registry setting to make sure UAC was off and its value is 0. im really hating vista.. HELP! thanks Ken
