Hi Dears,

I'm new in administrator world and don't have experiences.. so i need your help.

I have file server [DELL PowerEdage 2950] with Controller PERC 5/i and RAID 5 [contain 5 SATA 232 GB HDD].

the problem is D drive almost full and i want to add more space by adding 1Tb HDD and mount it to biggest sub-folder in the network shared folder.

my question; Can i add RAID 1 as redundant for the 1Tb HDD , beside the RAID 5? and, can I mount the virtual disk on  RAID 1 to folder in RAID 5 Drive?

if yes i can, can you tell me how we can do this [RAID 1] through DELL OMSA .
