we are running into a strange situation where, no matter what we try, our C6320 nodes is negotiating the disk link speed down to 6gbps when we use 12gbps disks.

Chassis: g73mp 

backplane: 8vm0j

controller: tckpf (firmware 25.5.2.0001)

c6320 bios: tried 2.4.2 as well as latest 2.21.1

We went into the BIOS integrated devices and in the controller settings we tried forcing link speed to 12gbps, but even then in the raid settings it shows the link speed is still negotiating down to 6gbps.

 

We tried these various disk models and had same issue no matter what:

Has anyone run into this issue with a Dell C6320 before? Any idea what the fix is to get disks to negotiate to 12gbps?
