I have a XPS 8300 tower. I want to put a 120 GB SSD in to run WIndows 7 and the programs off of and use the existing 500 GB drive for data storage.

I have clean installed Win XP before with Win XP disks. I have the system restore disks for my machine, but was recently I couldn't  use them to load Windows 7 on the SSD.  I want to keep my Win 7 and software licenses, is there a way to use the system restore disks on the SSD ?? Thanks
