I have two issue that may be related. I was given a poweredge 2600, the amber light was blinking and getting beep codes when i got it. Turned out the issue was just that the ram was not in the correct banks.
The amber light still blinks I thought you could check what the error the amber light is indicating and clear it by going into the utility partition. I tried doing that and running the diag and memory tests but i get a test fail event log full overflow please clear log. I don't see any option to clear the log.
