Hello,

I am trying to setup CAVA on VNX device where i have cifs server on VDM and CIFS server on Physical data mover as well.

I understood that i need to setup the virus scanning on cifs server hosted on Physical datamover, which will then be able to scan the data on CIFS server on VDM's as well. However when i setup and start the viruschk services on cifs server on physical datamover it is throwing me below error.

 

2019-06-01 13:44:45: VC: 5: 17: The virus checker is started.
2019-06-01 13:44:46: VC: 3: 33: Error on CAVA server x.x.x.x: ERROR_AUTH 53.
2019-06-01 13:44:46: VC: 3: 6: No virus checker server is available. Virus checking is stopped.
2019-06-01 13:44:46: VC: 4: 19: A number of files (2) were not checked for the file system 27.
2019-06-01 13:44:47: VC: 5: 16: The virus checker is stopped.

And i suspect this error is because of check$ share not accessible on cifs server. I tried accessing the check$ share and i am not able to access. Could you please help me to fix this issue.
