Hi,

we have two VNX for File systems that are currently doing Disaster Recovery with Mirrorview/S.

We plan to get rid of Mirrorview and use both VNX as Standalone NAS Filer, maybe do a Replication for some filesystems.

Question now is:

What is the procedure of changing the Data Movers to unmirrored?

There is a chapter in the manual about moving a filesystem to an unmirrored Data Mover by unmounting, remounting etc., but what if we want to do that with the whole array?

Can we simply remove the LUNs from the Consistency Group, remove the Mirrorview mirror and do some kind of "rescan" with the nas_mview command?

To me it is not clear how to revert back to an unmirrored system without touching the filesystems/data.

Can someone give me some direction on this?
