Just Received Dell Dimension 4100 in October. Love the Computer! Windows ME operating system. Yesterday I needed to install a font into the Windows/Fonts folder. No matter what I tried, I was unsuccessful. This particular font is very important, as it is used in many of my materials. This particular font worked fine on our old systems (Gateway and Emachines). I tried to copy it from a previous hard drive, I tried copy/paste, I tried installing from the original CD that the font is on, I tried to cut/paste, I downloaded it from the Internet "True Type Font Library (nothing worked). I basically spent all day trying to solve this problem. Including the calls to Tech Support at Dell, I guess my day was pretty much a waste. Is there anyone else having problems installing fonts? Any advise or help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.
