August 22, BIOS 1.19 is available

Two days later 1.18 is "installed" - which is a LIE

Today I was tricked into clicking a notice saying that updates were ready, when I clicked expecting to see more info, it instantly restarted the computer - loosing all the work I had in progress.

When that restart command eventually managed to kill everything that was running and reboot the machine I watched the ACTUAL BIOS update begin. Figured I was bricked since it stayed at 0% for FIVE minutes. Eventually a TON of BIOS updates were successfully updated. Elapsed time about 25 minutes.

Afterwards the machine just kept rebooting with the pulsating alien button after each reboot, Windows never loaded. Knowing Dell can't test every scenario I powered down all my external drives. After the next reboot, Windows loaded.

How many reboots should I expect after a BIOS update completes
Why would support assist show it "installed" on the 24th when it only installed today

This system has been incredibly reliable and stable since I bought it. I'm considering removing support assist since it's the only thing that's given me problems. Do allot of users typically get rid of that?

Looking at the downloads page, BIOS 1.20 is shown. Maybe support assist like MS s-l-o-w-l-y pushes updates to get a feel for the impact?

At least I know now not to click on any prompts from support assist since some will restart the machine without telling you that. I DID see one notice, worded similar to Windows notices that offered the Restart Now / Restart Later option, but the other I clicked on just implied that updates where ready and said nothing else and gave no warning.
