Aurora R10, changing OS, adding thermal paste to GPU
Hi,
I have an Alienware Aurora R10 with a RTX 3080 and was wondering if this stuff voids the warranty or if there is another solution?
Changing my windows 10 install(Fresh) - For some reason, I can get it to automatically login without entering a password, I have it set up on my other computers but on Alienware when I turn it off in admin settings and restart the computer it says invalid password and there is 2 identical accounts.
Repasting/applying thermal pads to my GPU - I heard that you can get a lot more performance and better temps if I do this and summer is coming so I don't want my GPU to throttle in games
Adding/Replacing the chassis fans - The front and back chassis fans are pretty loud, especially when I turn to overclock on in the Alienware software, I was thinking about changing to a Noctua fan or something more quiet
Do you guys know if doing any of this stuff will void my warranty? Because I got the computer in December so I think I got 1 year of warranty (8 months left).
