Aurora R6, CPU and GPU upgrade question, #5
I have a Alienware Aurora R6, i5-7600K, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB, 64GB RAM, and with the 850 Watt Multi-GPU Approved Power Supply with High Performance Liquid Cooling.
I want to upgrade the CPU. Is it possible? What is the maximum processing speed I can upgrade to?
I also want to upgrade the GPU. Is it possible to upgrade to the new NVIDIA RTX 3080? If not, what is the best card I could upgrade to? What do I need to be aware of, such as size of card, adapter type, etc, before I purchase a new card?
Bottom line, I'm playing the new Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, and the graphics and gameplay just are not up to my expectations, even keeping the graphics settings to the mid range. I want to upgrade this system as much as possible.
Thanks in advance for all your expert advice.

Max cpu is 7700k. 8th gen is not compatible (aurora r6 is bios locked and there is a higher pin count on the socket).

Recommended cpu for COD BO is i7-8700k with ray tracing on or high refresh rate.

some users reported 7700k bottleneck of rtx3070 during this game.

I Have an Aurora R6 and considering my power supply which is only 850W. Only I can upgrade is 2 GTX3060. I can see both gpu's are being detected but im not sure if both are working properly if I am on my game
