Alienware M17 R3 keyboard inputting extra characters

I just recently purchased a new M17 R3 and am having a weird issue with the keyboard.

I'v]e been trying to find anything about this but I've] been unable to find anyone. else that has this exact problem. No, the random characters aren't typos. I get a few different characters that show up after I type in specific text chains.

1) After I type out a word that ends in "one" (such as one, done, phone) I get a '.' period that shows up before or after the 'e' (I had to delete the periods that showed up typing it in this example. One. phon.e done. for example.

2) When I type out "I've" (again had to delete the ']') before or after the 'e' I get a ']' bracket. I've] for example.

3) When I type out "Doesn't" I will get either a 'v' or ']' before or after the 'n' or apostrophe. Does]nv't doesn]'vt doesn]'t doesn]v't does'vnt are examples.

4) After I type out the word "long" I get a '\' backslash.

For any of them, if I type it out very slowly, I don't seem to get any of the random characters. But if I'm typing normally (about 80ish words per minutes) this seems to happen almost every time. I've used a camera to record my typing to make sure I'm not actually hitting the 'v' ']' '.' etc when I type these words. That's what I've come across thus far for issues.

Any suggestions here? I'm hoping it's a software related issue and not a hardware related one...
