m18 R1 won''t wake up

I'm having a problem and I'd like to see if you can help me. I purchased - Alienware - m18 18" 480Hz Gaming Laptop FHD+ AMD Ryzen 9 7000 - last July and has been a nightmare ever since.  What appeared to be a random issue materialized into a long term issue that Dell support & Advanced Resolutions has not offered a solution in my correspondence with them in over ~60 emails.

If the laptop is connected to an external monitor and the lid is closed, the laptop will not wake up.  Various tests I've done resulted in the issue happening anywhere within an hour to X number of hours later.   Open the lid, hit the keyboard (lights up but that's it) It wont wake up.  I have to hard reboot the laptop.  Its been reset so many times, Windows executed a lock out screen due to too many reboots. (never seen it before type of error). I've tried several monitors and HDMI cables but no luck. Close the lid / connected to external monitor and it wont wake up.  Additionally, when I try to use it, it constantly BSOD on me too.   I'm very disappointed in Dell support as they provided little to no troubleshooting and after ~60 no solution. 

I looking for a real fix, a real solution, not a don't close the lid or don't leave it connected to an external monitor.  It's the only laptop I've ever had with this issue even other Dell laptops work great right out the box. Why is this Alienware having the wake up and BSOD issues? No mods, No changes to anything. Dell said my satisfaction is top priority however dealing with issue and seemingly getting the run around, it doesn't appear to be the case.
