Anyone experience extreme values returned by Navisphere Analyzer?
Recently noticed that on our arrays NaviSphere Analyzer has been collecting stats that seem outrageously high.
As an example, I selected all the disks composing a RG to view Total Throughput (I/O/sec) for each disk. The values seem obvious and consistent with activity for the RG, lets say average of 50 I/O/sec. However, selecting either of the SPs reflect a number of 15 million
I also checked either of two luns which reside on the RG and they both show as extremely high.
How is it possible that the LUN I/O rate and the SP I/O rate could be in the millions yet the disk I/O rate is less than 100...even if all 240 disks in the array showed 100 I/O/sec that would only equal some 240,000 I/O/sec, give or take 100,000.
Anyone else seen such anomalies when using Analyzer?
